Fairyhouse – A Guide To Irish Flat Racecourses

Fairyhouse Racecourse

Fairyhouse Racecourse is a galloping, right handed track with a slightly uphill finish of around three furlongs from the final bend to the winning post. The circuit is just over fourteen furlongs in circumference. The venue has a dual purpose track hosting both Flat and Jumps Racing but there is no doubt that it is a premier course for National Hunt racing, being home to the Irish Grand National.

There is currently just the one pattern race per calendar year, known as the Brownstown Stakes, a group three event opened to filly and mares aged three years and oldeer and is raced over seven furlongs in the month of July.

The draw can play an advantage over six furlongs and to a lesser extent in races over seven furlongs, in particular when the ground is riding on the slow side or in deep conditions and in both instances, either drawn middle to high.

Further below are some trainer angles that may be of use in your quest for finding some profitable bets over the long term at this track.

In addItion, the stable are very consistent in their win strike rate from May to September, recording at least a 20% win strike rate per month if not more.
