Nick Williams trained Tea for Two has been on the radar of race goers following a promising start to his National Hunt Career.  Winning last time out at Towcester, he had a prominent lead throughout the race before pushing on to win by four lengths.

It hasn’t always been plain sailing for the six-year-old, who has placed on three occasions this year. However in his last outing at Kempton he put in a gutsy performance and rallied to see off Barry Geraghty and My Wigwam Or Yours.

Priced at 5/1 for the Lanzarote Hurdle, he is ridden by Lizzie Kelly who was in the saddle last time out and is more than capable of passing the post first.

Can Henderson and Geraghty Start the New Year in Style?

The formidable duo of Nicky Henderson and Barry Geraghty will be hoping to start the New Year with a bang and a sweep of the Kempton card would certainly help get them in the right frame of mind.  They have chances in four of the races including Cocktails At Dawn in the 13:00, Hammersly Lake who is a great each way chance in the Lanzarote Hurdle and Open Hearted in the 15:15.

The pick of the bunch, however is Hunt Ball in the williamhill.com Chase.  Narrowly beaten last time out at Cheltenham on New Years Day, the ten-year-old is never one to back down from the big occasions.

Priced at 11/8 tomorrow he will be aided by the magic touch of Barry Geraghty to see him pass the post first.

Philip Hobbs trained Al Alfa hasn’t always been at his best throughout the National Hunt season, however he showed his class by winning last time out at Cheltenham. Battling in the two mile, five furlong contest, he stayed on gamely to see of Evan Willams challenger Buck Mulligan by a head.

Ridden by James Best, the man in the saddle for this last victory he is the lowest weight on the card tomorrow at 11 stone 1 ounce and this is something he could use to his advantage.

Priced at 7/1 if his form shows he could add another victory to his belt this season.
