“Slaven Bilic will demand a response from his players in West Ham’s last ever match at the Boleyn Ground after they slipped to a shock 4-1 defeat at home to Swansea on Saturday. Hopes of finishing in the top four went with that defeat, but they will want to sign off at the Boleyn with a win before moving to their new home. Manchester United, however, will be out to spoil the party. They will leapfrog Manchester City into fourth place if they win their final two matches of the season but that means having to win back-to-back away league matches, which they haven’t managed all season. Louis van Gaal’s side have only failed to win one of their last six matches in all competitions, although only two wins have come from their last six matches away from Old Trafford. The Hammers haven’t beaten United in the Premier League since 2007 but with the desire to leave the Boleyn on a high, their unwanted streak against United could come to an end. And in doing so, end United’s best chances of finishing in the top-four. Defeat wouldn’t spell the end of United’s chances, but they would have to beat Bournemouth on the last day of the season and hope City drop points against Swansea.”
