( votes)With only 2 rounds left to play in the group stages of the 2015/16 Champions League, it’s all to play for in most of the eight groups. Where does it all stand with two Matchdays remaining?
Group A
Barring any major shocks, Group A looks done and dusted, with the class of Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain telling over Shakhtar Donetsk and Malmo FF. Wins for Malmo and Shakhtar in their respective home homes against Real and PSG on Wednesday night could leave room for some drama on Matchday 6, but that scenario would still require PSG to lose at home to Shakhtar. Unlikely, but nothing is impossible.

Real Madrid – already qualified, PSG – 1.002, Shakhtar 151.00, Malmo FF – 201.00
Group B
In comparison, Group B remains wide open, with all four teams harbouring realistic hopes of qualifying. A home win for Manchester United on Wednesday night against PSV would guarantee qualification for Louis Van Gaal’s side, and leave an interesting three-way tussle between the Dutch side, CSKA Moscow and Wolfsburg. Anything but a win for the Russians this week would see them all but eliminated.

Man Utd – 1.12, Wolfsburg – 1.66, PSV – 2.50, CSKA Moscow – 4.50
Group C
Benfica are all but home as the Portuese side are sitting with a 5 point cushion over third place Galatasaray. An Atletico home win against Gala would see the Spanish side also progress – any slips ups by Diego Simeone’s side would see an intriguing encounter in Benfica’s Estadio da Luz on Matchday 6, though this group should be wrapped up Wednesday night if all goes to form.

Group D
Group D is more or less a formality with two rounds of matches remaining. Manchester City have already qualified, and Juventus almost certain to join them. Sevilla’s home defeat to City last time out all but ended the Spanish side’s hopes. Borussia Monchengladbach are gone.

Group E
With Barcelona already all but qualified and sitting pretty on ten points, a three way scrap will ensue between Roma, Bayer Leverkusen and BATE Borisov. Roma have a daunting trip to the Nou Camp tonight, and defeat could leave them looking anxiously at the result in Belarus. If the Italian side lose in Spain, a win for either BATE or Bayer would require the victorious side to match Roma’s result on Matchday 6. This group is going down to the wire.

Group F
On paper, Group F looks done and dusted with both Bayern Munich and Olympiacos sitting on nine points, six ahead of both Arsenal and Dinamo Zagreb. However, if tonight’s results go according to from, with home wins for both Arsenal and Bayern over Dinamo and Olympiacos respectively, it will all boil down to Arsenal’s visit to Athens on Matchday 6. In that even, Arsenal will need to better the Greek side’s result in London – 2-3. Can the Gunners do it?

Group G
FC Porto are more or less home and hosed in Group G, and Chelsea would expect to join them. However, it’s been an at times disastrous season for the Blues to date, and so they will not be taking anything for granted. The London side will expect to get at least a draw in Tel Aviv tonight against an already eliminated and pointless Maccabi, which will see them looking closely at Dynamo Kiev’s result in Portugal. With Chelsea finishing with a home game against Porto, who defeated them earlier on Matchday 2, and Dynamo looking at a comfortable home game against Maccabi, this group needs to be sorted out tonight for Jose Mourinho’s struggling side. They should do it.

Group H
Zenit have flown through the group stages and are the only side to have won all of their four matches to date. Lyon, with just a solitary point to their name, look unlikely to join them, but the French side have a home game tonight against Gent, while second place Valencia, with 6 points, face a daunting trip to St Petersburg. Home wins will leave an intriguing Matchday 6 scenario, with a Lyon win in Spain grabbing an unlikely second place finish for Hubert Fournier’s side. Valencia are in pole position, but Gent will also hold hopes of joining Zenit in the knockout phase.

To win outright
Bayern Munich – 3.50
