“Bold Thady Quill is a remarkable tough racehorse having his 76th start today. He has been busy as usual but is very consistent and fully deserving of top weight at this level. Yep, this represents a drop in class for him having run in valuable handicaps or at Group 3 level since winning off a mark of 99 in April on similar ground at Naas. A mile seems his best trip these days and he is not ground dependent. Don’t worry when you see him losing lengths at the start falling out of the stalls as that is his current trademark start. We hope for a true run race and if the pace is strong up front then Bold Thady Quill can pick them off from the rear with excellent 5lb claimer Sean Corby riding.”
