Chelsea – Burnley Match Preview

Chelsea – Burnley Match Preview
Chelsea went to Paris in midweek, with a plan and it was mission accomplished for them and despite conceding a second half equaliser, they will have returned home in a positive move ahead of the return leg and will look to build more confidence with a win over Burnley. Diego Costa is back available following suspension, and with John Obi Mikel who may be the only player unavailable to Jose Mourinho he shouldn’t have to many issues when selecting his squad even if the boss did make a point to highlight that a number of his players hadn’t trained in the build up to the PSG game so he may apply some rotation this weekend. The likes of Fabregas and Willian could be rested, potentially paving the way for Juan Cuadrado to make back-to-back starts in the league for the Blues. The Clarets were perhaps a little unfortunate to lose against United in their last premier league match but they have now picked up just one point from a possible 12 and remain entrenched in a relegation battle. Dyche’s side will likely cause a few problems for Chelsea after a considerably longer rest and preparation period ahead of this fixture but the hosts’ quality should be telling in the end. Burnley have no fresh injury concerns to contend with though the likes of Ward, Taylor and Marney are still sidelined. Scott Arfield will continue to cover for the absence of the latter with a move infield, with Michael Kightly getting a chance on the wing. Elsewhere the only likely competition for places comes between Ashley Barnes and Sam Vokes in the support role to Danny Ings.

The World’s best Tispter suggests that this game could end up with a shocking result, anyone else agree?
