“There is no doubt that Carreño is one of the the best players at the Challenger tour where the spaniard has captured 11 titles in the 11 finals he played. He won his last title in Poznan last week and apparently he comes in good form to Umag. But the spaniard is struggling to extend his challenger dominance to the ATP tour level. His results against top 50 are not impressive even on clay, his favorite surface (33% wins). Today he will face a rival that will mean a change of level for him. Klizan has been playing Davis Cup with his country last weekend. He won his two singles matches in straight sets against the romanian players Ungur and Copil. This matches will provide him with the needed adaptation to the surface as he hadn´t played on clay for a while. If the slovak is able to control his unforced errors, his aggresive style of playing should be too much for the spaniard.”  Get it HERE.  ]]>
