“Uniks is team that can easily play in Euroleague and I am confident they would play TOP 16 at least in that competition. Langford is one of the best wing players in the Europe. He is among most efficient one on one players with Gentile and DeColo as other two. Pashutin figured out the system that can exploit that advantages. He uses Kaimakoglou a lot of minutes as well. That is important because he is power forward who stretches the floor in order to give Langford more room to operate.Parakhouski is great pick and roll finisher but more important he protects the rim and takes a lot of defensive rebounds (was among leaders in both block and rebounds last year in Euroleague). Rebounding will be important against such athletic team like Aris. If you can prevent them from getting second chances you have done a lot of work. Aris has solid roster and will have strong support but quality is strongly on the Kazan side. Aris managed to win in first match in Russia but back then Uniks was in little crisis. Also Pashutin has taken some experience from that game and wont make some mistakes again. It is hard to win against a lot better team twice in one month. Uniks has raised form and their defense is one of the best in the Europe. They managed to beat Khimky and have destroyed Nizhny in last weeks. They are more rested because of the blow out and lower minutes during weekend. Aris on other hand had exhausting game against AEK in domestic league.”
