Iceland is here without Palmarsson; one of the best players in the world. For years Iceland depend on Palmarsson creation in offense. He has been their second best scorer and by far the best creator for the team. Without him their offense looks very limited with weak options. They have huge problems in set offense because they lack above average talent on back positions that can open the floor with their outside shooting. They rely on their defense and defense has looked good so far. The most they have conceded was 27 against Spain and Macedonia. France has been clicking on all cilinders so far but we cannot expect so much better offensive perfomance than Spain for example. France defense has looked impressive so far and it will be difficult task for Iceland to score against France zone with Sorhaindo-Fabregas-Karabatic in the middle not worrying about outside shooting. Game will be played in Lille. Lille staidum has indoor conditions but organization announced to viewers to dress up because it is still stadium. So we can expect colder conditions than this players are used to and it should affect dynamics of the game as well.
