Mornar and Cibona met in first round of this season. Start of the season was catastrophy for Mornar. Mornar was team with many new additions. Mornar has had only 1 win in ABA league at the middle of November. They have won 4 games since losing only to one of the best teams in Europe; Partizan by 2 points in game decided in last possession. Cibona has had great start of season but lost 5 consecutive games in this competition. Their biggest strength was inside the paint. They have the best paint defense in league with conceding just 25 points per game inside. That stat should not be suprise if you know that 2 of the top 5 blockers in league come from Cibona (Reuvers and Brankovic). In last few weeks Cibona has lost Prkacin and Reuvers to injuries. Vrankovic left the club. So they added Popic who also got injured. From great 4-5 rotation they now depend on Brankovic and juniors. Mornar biggest weakness was inside so this is great news for them. They are the worst team in rebounding in the league (both defensive and offesnive rebounds). They have also improved strongly in that part in last few games. They were almost even in that stat against Partizan (elite rebounding team). That game in Bar at the start of the season was won by Cibona mainly on that mismatch inside. Prkacin has scored 24 combined with 6 rebounds and Reuvers scored 18 combined with 7 rebounds and 5 blocks. As i already wrote, both are missing this game. Mornar small ball with a lot of running and fast pace will be a lot easier without Cibona dominant frontcourt. I expect easy away win here. Odds should be close to 1.4
