Why should I bet with this bookmaker?
BetFred run a neatly organised platform and have a large variety of promotions and special offers across most of the sports markets available. It’s a respectable, well-known bookie which won’t let you down, and there is a nice array of informative, if unspectacular special functions and resources..
Why shouldn’t I bet with this bookmaker?
It’s not unfair to say this sportsbook doesn’t quite extend as far as some of its competitors in the scope of its markets or odds offered, and the special features on the site and mobile app may be nice, but they are quite limited. Be careful with the sign-up offer as it is not open to those who deposit via the Skrill, Neteller, PaySafe and Ukash methods. There are better in-play betting experiences to be had elsewhere too, although the cash out option is offered which is a major plus.

Sports and markets available
There are 24 major sports covered, with additional markets offered on E-sports, lottery, politics, TV shows and other ‘specials.’ In-play coverage is extensive but there is not a lot of in-play information to go by in the form of game updates or stats, and there is no Asian Handicap market.
On the sportsbook landing page there is a quick links section and also tabs along the left-hand side which can take you to horse racing form and results, the blog, and a great betting guide which is available to print as a pdf.
There’s live streaming of a multitude of events (for FAQS related solely to this you can go here http://www.betfred.com/help/faq/watch-live). The totepool section on horse racing is akin to what you find at racetracks and provides a 9% better return than fixed odds (for a simple explanation, you can go here http://www.betfred.com/totepool/pools-betting-explained). The VIP experience looks incredibly attractive (with offers of enhanced odds, faster withdrawals and tickets to a host of events), but there is little in the way of information as to how you qualify for it, so getting in touch directly with the bookie is advised here.
The betting terms glossary is a nice touch too, and live radio commentary is offered on some events, all contributing to a nicely-stocked platform.
The sportsbook FAQ section is incredibly limited, but there are the usual phone, email and live chat options available.
Bank transfer and card deposits, accompanied by PayPal, PaySafe, Moneybookers, Skrill, Neteller and Ukash options. Nothing but good stuff here.
4/5 – A well-respected bookmaker with a lot of great promotions which will make many customers very happy.
