Profiting from Jump Jockey Sam Twiston-Davies

Jockey Sam Twiston-Davies

Sam Twiston-Davies is an British Jump jockey who is retained by the most powerful jumps yard in Britain, the stable belonging to Paul Nicholls.

His father is Nigel Twiston-Davies another high profile trainer where he learned to ply his trade under his care.

When the opportunity arose to ride for Paul Nicholls, his father did not step in his way but he still takes rides for the stable when possible.

He has achieved a lot for the age of 24, seven grade one victories and a further 70 pattern races, it won’t be long before he reaches double figures in winning in the highest grade. Notable victories include; the champion bumper, champion chase and Aintree hurdle.

He is very strong in the saddle both lower and upper body strength in equal measure. He can propel horses forward and drives horses home.  He can raise his arm a bit higher than most when resorting to the whip, but it is timed in an ideal fashion.

Numerically, his best tally in a calendar year (2014) has been 143 wins from770 rides representing a healthy win strike rate of 19% He has recorded a century of winners every calendar year since and is very likely to continue that trend this year.

Outside of riding for Paul Nicholls and his father, he can be found being supported by Dr Newland, Jamie Snowden, Charlie Longsdon, Donald McCain and David Dennis

The tracks where he rides well are as follows; Newton Abbott (58 wins), Worcester (53 wins), Ffos Las (45 wins) and Uttoxeter (44 wins).
