Hayley Turner to Show the Boys How It’s Done

Leading female jockey Hayley Turner can already be proud of herself this week after finishing a narrow second at York.  However she will be hoping to go one better in the mazerattan.com Garden Furniture Specialist Handicap with Tom Dascombe-trained Tarooq.

The nine-year-old has had an impressive start to 2015, finding himself in the winner’s enclosure in all but one of his races.

Finishing third last time out at Chepstow, he will be looking to get back to winning ways.

Ridden by Hayley Turner, Tarooqis priced at 7.00.

Botti Looks to Norab for Newmarket Winner

Trainer Marco Botti picked up two winners at Chelmsford last weekend and he will be hoping he can add another to his tally in the mazerattan.com Handicap.

Four-year-old Norab seemed to pick up where he left off when returning to the track earlier this year, scoring an impressive win on the all-weather at Chelmsford.

Finishing narrowly outside the place positions on his last outing at Ripon, he will hope to get back to winning ways at Newmarket.

Ridden by Daniel Muscutt, Norab is our best bet priced 6.00.

Bet of the Day

Newmarket 14:50 Bravo Zolo

The mazerattan.com Garden Furniture Specialist King Charles II Stakes was won last year by 17.00 shot Coulsty, but it’s likely to be won by a lower priced horse this year, it could be trainer Marco Botti’s chance for a quick Newmarket double.

Three-year-old Bravo Zolo has won his last three career starts quite impressively. Priced 3.25, he saw off Mulzamm by two lengths on his last outing at Wolverhampton.
Ridden by Adam Kirby, Brave Zolo is worth a punt priced 7.00.
