“The Italian giants only managed a 1-1 draw over regulation time against the Melbourne Victory but the Italians then went and lost in the penalty shoot out after the 90 minutes. Massimiliano Allegri of course didn’t send out a strong side for the game but they scored an incredible lobbed goal from the center circle to open the scoring. Juventus were far from their regular selves, lacking any kind of cutting edge against a side that were just set out to frustrate them. Juventus were just shooting from anywhere really as they were the ones putting pressure on their opponents defence, but without really liking a major threat. Spurs and Juventus have never met competitively and this isn’t a competitive game either, just part of the friendly invitational tournament that is the International Champions Cup. Juventus haven’t taken a big, strong squad to the tournament so will probably just be looking to keep themselves organised and go through the motions. So a pre-season start for Tottenham then who have made a couple of summer signings. They have brought in Victor Wanyama to bolster their midfield while adding Dutch striker Vincent Janssen to their stock as well.Spurs will be nowhere near full strength and vicnet Janssen is a 13/8 anytime goalscorer quote for game. Prediction-It is hard to judge this one, particularly with the weakened line ups. But when you consider the first game of the Italians, the Spurs may be better value to win here.”
