“The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors clash the horns once again in Game 3 of the NBA Finals. At the moment the Warriors lead the series 2-0 after two easy wins at home, where their tremendous defence had Cleveland’s offence totally paralyzed. The Cavs shot only miserable 35 percent from the floor in their two awful losses at Oracle Arena, but there are still rays of hope shining upon the team from Ohio. Cleveland has been superb offensively this postseason at Quicken Loans, averaging over 111 points per playoff game. These numbers will be particularly hard to reach tonight playing a wonderful offensive team like the Warriors, who have allowed only 88.8 points in the past four games, but Cleveland will be extremely ferocious this time in a do-or-die game, as James described it. Although power forward Love suffered a contusion in Game 2, he’s expected to play and if that appears to be a case then I do believe the Cavs will finally reach the century mark on offence this time. What I don’t really believe in is Cleveland’s ability to stop the Warriors’ offence. The defending NBA champions from Oakland are now at their prime confidence after winning five playoff games in a row against great teams like the Thunder and Cavs, and confidence is especially important in deciding shooting accuracy. The Warriors are not going to look back after the first two impressive wins, and at least their offence should again be reliable and smooth even playing on the road. Although the series has been underish thus far, a call on overs has to slip in finally.”
