Bet Advisors Guide to Betting – EPL Transfer Window Special

We are almost at the conclusion of the winter transfer window and the final few days are sure to be frenetic, as clubs top up their playing rosters for the rest of the season. Let’s continue our look at who could be on the move in the coming days, by focusing on five strikers who are very much in demand.

LOIC REMY – CHELSEA

The imminent arrival of Brazilian striker Alexandre Pato looks to have called time on Loic Remy’s career at Stamford Bridge. The French striker is now odds on the best betting sites to leave West London before the window closes on Monday. Newcastle United is his most likely destination, as the Magpies look to further strengthen their squad following the arrival of England midfielder Jonjo Shelvey. Premier League leaders Leicester City are also interested in securing his services and there is also interest from the capital, with Crystal Palace another one of his admirers.

ALEXANDRE LACAZETTE – LYON

At the start of the New Year, it seemed Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette would be heading to Old Trafford to join Manchester United. As we head towards the closure of the transfer window, its Newcastle United who are strongly linked with yet another frontman. Whilst Remy remains Steve McClaren’s number one choice, French international Lacazette has not been ruled out of a switch to the North-East. West Ham United has also made enquiries as to have Liverpool, however, a move to Merseyside has been ruled out by sources close to coach Jurgen Klopp.

West Ham United 13.00

Liverpool 15.00

Manchester United 29.00

EDER – SAMPDORIA

What seems inevitable now is that Italian international Eder will be leaving Sampdoria in the next few days. The question is where will be his final destination, with both Leicester City and Inter Milan going head-to-head to secure his signature. The Premier League side have already made an offer to Samp which the club is believed to have accepted; the only problem here is that the player himself seems unsure whether to make the switch to England. Latest reports suggest that Inter will try to negotiate a deal with their Serie A rivals in the next 48 hours, with the best football betting sites finding it difficult to separate the two protagonists.

Inter Milan 1.62

Leicester City 2.20

SAIDO BERAHINO – WEST BROMWICH ALBION

For the second week running on these pages, West Brom striker Saido Berahino features amongst the most likely departures of this transfer window. The player seems to have finally made his peace with coach Tony Pulis, but a move away from The Hawthorns is imminent. London is the favourite destination, with Spurs in pole position to add to their already deadly strike force. Once again, Newcastle United figure in the betting as do Chelsea, Liverpool and Stoke City.

*Current Odds

Spurs 2.50

Newcastle United 3.75

Chelsea 17.00

Liverpool 26.00

Stoke City 29.00

ALEX TEIXERA – SHAKHTAR DONETSK

The Brazilian frontman could be one of the transfer window’s biggest deals, if Liverpool and Ukranian side Shakhtar Donetsk can agree on a price. Latest reports suggest that his current employer is holding out for a fee in the region of £38 million, which coach Mircea Lucescu describes as “A great price for an incredible player.” With the Merseyside club taking their time to decide if that is the kind of outlay they want to make in January, Chelsea remain alert to the situation even though Pato is heading to West London. Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp desperately needs a centre-forward who can score goals, the one he inherited, Christian Benteke, is doing the exact opposite and the German is believed to be losing patience with the player.

*Current Odds

Liverpool 1.57

Chelsea 17.00
