Really like this bet for many reasons.
First of all, Heat begin B2B2B today. First legs of such a schedule have 11 - 3 in favor of the Under tendency. Second, both teams are focused mainly on defense right now. Heat didn't like the way they showed up for road games and decided to tighten up the defense and it looks good so far. The fact that in the last 20 games between the teams (and yes, I know that Heat aren't the same) it's 15 - 5 in favor of the Under and since the big trio came to Miami, it's 5 - 1 in favor of the Under. 93 - 89 type of game seems about right here. WHY I LOST THIS PICK:
Luck is keep being against us. Almost all the lines we got, including today's, we got advantage over the closing line (including the Lakers game btw). In Atlanta both teams shot really well from FT and from 3 point line. The pace was of the Under for three out of the four quarters, but that didn't help. | |
